Confirmed Zika Cases in Ohio
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have reported that local mosquito-born Zika virus cases have been confirmed outside of the US. The Zika virus has been steadily spreading around the world. It began in Central and South America, and even though locally-transmitted cases have not yet been confirmed within the US, there have been cases of travelers returning to Ohio with Zika virus infections.
