We are excited to announce that we will once again be hosting a gear swap. This is a great opportunity to do some early gift shopping for the holidays, outfitting scouts preparing for high adventure, or just anyone looking to get into backpacking and camping for the first time.
Bring in your previously used gear, outdoor clothing, and footwear (i.e., technical shells, rainwear, down jackets, backpacking pants, backpacking boots, hiking shoes, etc.). You decide how much you want for the item, and we sell it for you! When your item sells, you may choose between a store merchandise credit for 85% of the selling price, or 60% back in cash (a company check will be issued within 10 business days).
Swap Dates Are:
First Look Night is Friday, August 26th, from 5:00PM – 7:30:00PM.
A $5.00 admission fee (CASH ONLY) will be collected on Friday night only. Proceeds will be donated to the Conservancy for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Saturday, August 27th, from 10:00AM – 6:30PM
Sunday, August 28th, from 11:00AM – 5:30PM
Drop Off Dates for Gear:
Wednesday, August 24th, from 10:00AM - 8:00PM
Thursday, August 25th, from 10:00AM - 8:00PM
Friday, August 26th, from 10:00AM - 3:00PM.
Items will be accepted throughout the weekend as well. It just means shorter sale time for you!
All unsold swap items MUST be picked up by 8:00PM on Tuesday, August 30th. All unclaimed items will be donated or recycled.
Exclusions:
We CANNOT accept the following items: any climbing equipment (except for climbing shoes), skis, snowboards, firearms, archery equipment, fishing equipment, bikes, bats, balls, ball gloves, golf equipment, etc. Due to Ohio registration transfer requirements, we are unable to accept any kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, etc.
