I bought this chair for a hike of the 100 Mile Wilderness in Maine because I have a cranky back and wanted a real chair for nights in camp. The chair is super lightweight and packs small, is easy to put together and take apart, and is very comfortable. Just be careful when you sit down for the first time each night. If you sit down really fast and the hind legs sink into the ground, you might find yourself flat on your back. The legs do have a tendency to sink into the soft ground. Despite that tendency, I found it worth taking on my trip and it's about to join me on another three-day trip this week.
