I really did not need more hiking boots, but this is such a great product at an awesome price that I had to purchase it. I already own two pairs that never wear out. Great quality. Sturdy. Comfortable. Good looking. Lowe's are the only hiking boots I trust and own.
Love these boots. Bought my first pair in 2018, had to get some newbies this year after all of the adventures. Hunted down the Cayenne and the Appalachian Outfitters staff was super helpful in getting my boots to me - out of state!
I bought these boots earlier in 2021 and have now come back for a second pair. They are used daily (well, almost) for 10k steps on paths, trails, sidewalks and rustic forest paths. They fit comfortably from the first day I took them out. They are lightweight and provide great ankle support. I have a high arch and hallux limitus and these boots fit me perfectly.
I am very happy with these boots. Which explains the second pair...
it is the fourth pair of Lowa Renegade GTX I bought in ten years hiking my loved mountains day after day.
This is the best boot - my 2nd pair- 1st pair lasted ~ 10 years and many big back packing (BP) trips, + all the hours of training hikes with packs on to prep for those long trips= Grand Canyon 5 day BP, Mt Whitney, 5 day trips in Sierra Nevadas several x, 4 days Inca Trail in Peru + many others. They keep the water out when hiking in rain or through shallow water, comfortable, easy to break in.
