My review pertains to Appalachian Outfitters, rather than Opinel (knife speaks for itself). Super, super pleased w/the way these folks conducted business. Every single thing they said, they likewise stood on. No shucking. No jiving. No smoke n' mirroring. Everything was as advertised. All you really need!

This is a great knife. If all you need out of a knife is a utility /occasional paring knife then this is it. Super slicey and very easy to carry. Also very approachable too compared to more modern knives.

Great little travel knife

I love this knife and it is ready for picnic time!
My only concern is it carbon steel or stainless steel? Both require different care! Love it and proce exceptional! Well made!

I saw a knife on TV like this I liked very much I'm almost sure this is it... do you turn the stainless looking piece on the collar of the knife at the base of the blade to lock the knife blade or is it a non-locking blade?
