Silky POCKETBOY 170mm Outback Edition

This is the smallest of the Silky Outback Edition saws. It's absolutely great with the heavier thicker blade than the regular Pocketboy. The few extra dollars for this model is well worth it. It's rated to not only cut wood, but bone as well

I strongly suggest once this is back in stock to grab one you will be amazed as well as extremely pleased.

Silky Pocketboy Outback - For The Sneaky

Silky Saws are a great product and are my Go To for camping, trails and tactical woodland operations. My preferred models have been the Pocketboy 170, Gomboy 210 & Gomboy 240. The only drawback to them has been the limited color theme, which is designed mainly for the arborist.

Though the bright orange handle and shiny blade have been welcome features in most cases for HiVis, I’ve always wished they would introduce a “subdued” handle and blade. Sure you can always hit your kit with krylon paint as needed for covert rural operations (ie surveillance and/or sniper employment), but it’s much nicer when a company sales a product prepped already for woodland sneakiness. In steps Silky’s “Outback Edition”.

In addition to an even better product now for Mil/LE, I am also pleased with Appalachian Outfitters. They had what I needed, when I needed it. They also have great customer service. Thanks again for your help! I highly recommend Silky (regardless of the color) and Appalachian Outfitters. Both get the job done.
